Star Trek: Starbase 777 - status-updates

Hi there @Event Ping ( @deleted-role and @deleted-role ) , the event intro has been posted. Please read over it and when you're ready you can head to #briefing-room for the introductory rp! Some brief rules as a refresher - Max 2 characters per person - We have 2 away teams, you can have one character on each team or both characters on the same team -

Crispy Bacon is leading the puzzle/text clues focused team -

Suss is leading the combat / dice rolling focused team You can join the event at any time however once you choose a team for your character, your character must stay on that team the entire time! CHOOSE WISELY! (also to those senior staff peeps, this would count as a work rp!

Hey there @Event Ping , it is sadly sleepy time, thanks for doing the lil intro! At the moemnt everyone is welcome to get on the #submarine-transport ! Even shall resume hopefully around 28-Feb-25 11:00 PM! We will not be choosing teams IRP yet! there will be a little 'tutorial' where everyone will be together. IRP Events so far - Eventide has crashed and the KDF and Moneans are helping to repair it - All OCs were beamed to safety in #briefing-room and are briefed about the missing people we are going to rescue - We will be taking a sub down to the Monean energy refinery as that is the only structure on the planet that could possibly accommodate 300 people (the missing people) Current mysteries - Where are the hostages? - Why were they kidnapped? - Who kidnapped them? Was it the Moneans? They claim to have no idea what's going on.... Whilst you wait for me to wake up, please feel free to chat/have fun on the sub! (edited)

Hi @Event Ping ! Event is starting again! We will have a short tutorial section before the team selection. For this event, we will be using TUPPER'S DICE ROLLING system. When to use the system will be explicitly stated in the narrator post so don't worry about not knowing when to use it. If you need a refresher for how to do it, you type {{# of dice - type of dice}} within your tupper post. So if you are rolling one D10 you write {{1d10}}. For the majority of this event we will be using a D10 so {{1d10}} is pretty much all you will need. Once you post your tupper, the dice will generate a random number. You are free to post again roleplaying your character doing the action. Don't worry about remembering all of this, it will be written in the narrator post too!

Alright @deleted-role , that's pause on your section in #interrogation-chamber . Everyone can chat / talk to the NPCs a little but for your part, that is it for tonight. Thanks for playing so far! If you are just coming online and you have a character that is on / you want to put on the Combat team, drop them in the interrogation chamber (it doesn't matter if you have not been in the event up until now, you can join at ANY TIME!)

Recap of timeline - Eventide is sent to Rigas IV, a Monean colony suspected of holding KDF (and some Federation) prisoners - Eventide crash landed and is now in pieces (but is being repaired) - The Away team is invetigating a Monean energy refinement hub. They've discovered the hostages are being held and forced to play LEAGUE OF SPACE LEGENDS. - The Away team has split up to investigate both wings of the facility. - Those who want to solve puzzles ( @deleted-role ) are going to disable the power in the Da Nang wing (currently in #league-room-02 ) - Those who want to do combat via Tupper dice ( @deleted-role ) are going to rescue the prisoners (currently in #interrogation-chamber ) "I haven't joined the event yet, can I still join?" Yes! Simply drop your character in either #league-room-02 or #interrogation-chamber HELP! How do I roll tupper dice? For a recap, you do {{# of dice - type of dice}} so rolling 1 D10 would be {{1d10}}. For this rp, to keep it simple, we will only be rolling D10's. If your character obtains any advantages you will put that in the dice (ex. if you have +2 you can write {{1d10 + 2}}. Any advantages/buffs will be given by the GM so make sure you read Narrator posts carefully Thank you, and let's get this party started

They've discovered the hostages are being held and forced to play LEAGUE OF SPACE LEGENDS. - It was discovered the prisoners have ankle bracelets with poison. The Engineer/puzzle team deactivated those bracelets and were able to synthesise an antidote for the Combat team! - Both teams are in their final stages - @deleted-role puzzle team, you are in #rigas-security-hub - @deleted-role combat team you are in #league-room-01 "I haven't joined the event yet, can I still join?" Hello @Event Ping ! That's the conclusion of the event! You can hang out in #etd-transporter-room and chat! Alternatively you can just hang out on the base or in the chatroom. When you do go back to the base IRP a time skip of 3 hours has occurred and ALL injuries have been treated. The hostages have been returned to their factions and the KDF is pressing charges against the Moneans at Rigas IV with the Delta Alliance. It seems like everyone had assumed the Monean gaming league was a legitimate entity and unaware of their true workings.

I want to say thank you to everyone who participated, thank you for staying up late for me, I know it was a crazy 3 days ahha ❤️ I don't run events often so this was very fun for me!
